This class was probably the one I was most worried about at the beginning of the semester. I was going to have to hand code something and that was going to be difficult. Despite the fact that I graduated from Georgia Tech, I'm not very good at writing html. I can now say though that I am capable of doing it and even comfortable doing it. I learned a great deal about various tools that I can use in my classroom to develop a more blended approach. My final web quest was the culmination of several years of research on my part and I'm very proud of it. I hope that the teachers I have shared it with appreciate and are about
This class shifted my understanding of how ideas and practices flow through a school. I was not aware of how much leadership can affect what happens in each classroom without these ideals or practices being mandated. I very much enjoyed the opportunity to analytically look at my school and find our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This allowed me to consider my school and where I can be the most helpful. This was great practice for analyzing another school as a technology coach when the opportunity arises.
