Introduction
My name is Leslie Scott, and I am in the Master's Degree program in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. I began the program Summer 2013 and will graduate Summer 2015. I graduated from Georgia Tech in 2006 with a BacheIor's degree in Applied Biology . Immediately after graduation, I began teaching high school biology in rural south Georgia. I received my teaching certificate through the TAPP program while teaching. After five years of teaching in south Georgia I moved to the Atlanta Metro and started teaching at Campbell High School.
I currently teach Pre-IB and IB Biology in Campbell's magnet program. My ultimate goal is to remain in the classroom and develop better curricula for myself and my colleagues. I plan to continue with my education by pursuing my specialist and doctoral degrees.
The purpose of this portfolio is for me to demonstrate mastery of the PSC Instructional Technology standards and the ISTE NETS-C standards. As you can see, there are a series of links below the KSU logo that you can visit. Of particular importance is the "standards" link. Under this link, you will see a series of artifacts and reflections documenting the important work I have completed during this program. Each artifact represents mastery of the standard under which it is represented.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kennesaw State University, and feel that I am well-prepared to integrate technology into my classroom and to assist other educators in using technology and providing professional learning opportunities for them.
